Imagine being inside of a store, and while waiting to pay, seeing a car come crashing through the front of the building. Sunday in Skokie, Illinois that's exactly what happened at a local 7-11 store located on West Church Street. . For unknown reasons a driver of a vehicle accelerated, and as a result crashed through the front of glass of the building.
Two people were injured in the crash; one was a worker, the other was a store patron. The worker had a broken leg, and the store patron suffered only minor injures. It was not reported if the driver of the vehicle was injured in the crash as well. The building did suffer some extensive damage from the hit, and will need to be looked into.
