While people were sitting at the bar at Field Box 2 in St. Charles, MO Tuesday night, they received an unwelcome surprise. Likewise, around 10 that night, a car came crashing into the front of the building. Luckily, no one inside the bar was injured in the crash. It is unknown why the driver lost control and crashed into the bar, but they were found unconscious behind the wheel.
Patrons inside the bar attempted to wake the driver after the crash, but were unsuccessful in doing so. Eventually rescue crews had to cut away the car with tools to free the driver. An investigation into the driver's condition at the time of the crash is being looked into. The driver did suffer minor injuries, and is expected to make a full recovery. After the crash, a large hole still sits in the side of the building, and it is currently condemned until it can be fixed. To learn more, click here.
