More and more it is evident to drivers that wearing a seat belt at the time of a crash can help save your life. Sunday night this was proven after an unfortunate crash that happened in Missouri. Likewise, a woman from Barnhart, MO died after the teen driver of the vehicle she was riding in lost control. In addition, the accident happened on Highway M in Jefferson County just west of St. Luke's Church Road.
46-year-old, Tina Crossno was killed after the vehicle she was an occupant in lost control and went off the left side of the road. As a result, the driver over-corrected and went off the road again, only to end up in the median. Crossno was ejected from the vehicle and killed; she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The driver of the car was 17-year-old, Devan Crossno, yet it does not state how the two are related. Devan was wearing a seat belt during the crash and suffered only moderate injuries.
