Sadly Monday in Dodge City, Kansas a woman died after the SUV she was riding in collided with a semi. Furthermore, 66-year-old, Paula Kissner of Wisconsin died at the intersection of U.S. 283 and Saddle Road when her vehicle was struck by a semi. The driver of the semi was, 40-year-old, Sergio Sorianogarcia of California, and the crash happened when he failed to stop at a sign at the intersection.
As a result Sorianogarcia's semi struck Kissner's SUV. Likewise, the SUV flipped on its roof and ended up in a field at the northwest corner of the junction. There were two other passengers in the SUV at the time of the crash. The driver was 72-year-old, Dale Kissner, and the other passenger was 17-year-old, Amanda Peterson. The two others inside the SUV were taken to a nearby hospital, and it was not reported if either were injured. All people inside the SUV were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
