Sadly, an Ohio man was killed in a head-on crash with a semi on Monday morning in Wayne Township. In addition, the accident occurred on Route 73 when 74-year-old, James Rucker's pickup truck was struck by the oncoming semi. As a result, Rucker was ejected from his vehicle, and died at the scene.
It was not reported whether or not the driver of the semi was injured in the crash. After the accident, the semi ended up in a ditch off the side of the road, which took some time to clean up after the crash. The road was closed between Jacksonburg and Wehr roads until the crash was investigated. Thus, the road reopened nearly 12 hours later for drivers to pass.
