If you feed Kraft singles cheese blocks to your children, you may want to read the following. Furthermore, Kraft Heinz Company is voluntarily recalling some code dates of its Singles wrapped cheese slices due to a potential choking hazard.
In addition, the company states that the thin strip of packaging film that contains the cheese may stick to the slice after the wrapper has been removed thus causing the choking hazard. Thus far there have been 10 consumers that have complained about the packaging and three reports of people choking.
About 36,000 cased of the recalled product were sent to retailers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and Grand Cayman. Only products with S54 and S55 codes, which were made on two production lines, are being recalled. If you have purchased the product the company is urging consumers not to eat it and return it to the store for a full refund.
