Last night a woman and a police officer were involved in a car accident in West Palm Beach. Both parties sustained injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals. The accident occurred at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and South Dixie Highway, however the cause of the accident is unknown.
Both vehicles suffered extensive front-end damage. The fire rescue crew had to cut the roof off the vehicle in order to free the woman. The severity of the woman’s injuries required that she be transported by strapping her onto a board.
