After church, two women were driving home when a pickup truck was hydroplaning down the roadway and struck their vehicle. The women attempted to evade the pickup truck to avoid the collision, but were unsuccessful. The two women were pastor’s daughters and they had just completed a day of pray at a religious convention. The pickup truck hit them with enough force that the two women died along with the woman driving the pickup truck. However, a six-year-old boy who was also in the pickup truck survived the collision.
The father of the two women was also leaving the same religious convention, but rode separately with his wife. The church along with the family is devastated by this event. The father told WTSP, “To lose my daughters in this fashion has caused a rip in my heart that can’t be explained.”
