On Tuesday night a woman was involved in a two car accident on Hwy 67 at Flucom Road. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the accident.
The accident occurred when a woman from Desoto was traveling east and was attempting to cross Flucom Road in her 2015 Toyota Camry. At this time, her car was struck by a man from Farmington diving a 2014 Nissan Altima. The driver of the Altima attempted to avoid the collision, but was unsuccessful.
The driver of the camry suffered injuries and had to be taken to the Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City by the Joachim-Plattin Ambulance.
