The Pittsburgh Police Department is investigating the accident.
Auto accidents involving buses have a high rate of injuries and fatalities due to the number of passengers a bus can transport. Operating a bus is a large responsibility that requires the driver to ensure the safety of many passengers and other individuals on the roadways. Bus accidents can be caused by reckless driving in the form of distracted driving, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, speeding, or fatigued driving. If you have been injured in a bus accident, a full investigation can determine if you have grounds to file a claim. It is important to consult a bus accident attorney to also determine if you have evidence to file a third party case as well.
