|

On December 9th, a St. Louis area school bus driver was arrested for stealing a bottle of champagne and possession of marijuana. The incident occurred in St. John when 33-year-old Crystal Taylor stole a bottle of champagne from a grocery store and then attempted to begin her afternoon bus route. A security guard from the grocery store tracked Taylor down and confronted her. During the questioning, the officer saw the bottle of champagne in Taylor’s purse and while searching her, discovered she was also in possession of marijuana. The St. John’s Police Department is investigating the case and there is no word whether First Student bus company will dismiss Taylor from her position.

DUI accidents occur so frequently that two out of every three people will be involved in an auto accident involving a drunken driver at some point during their lifetime. Drivers who commit the crime of DUI may face harsh consequences and should also be held accountable financially for the damages they have caused.
