On Saturday evening, an auto accident killed three individuals and it was caused by street racing. The accident happened in Alabama at around 5:30 p.m. when 22-year-old Maurice Devonte Wedgeworth was racing a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass against a Chevrolet Monte Carlo. During the race, Wedgeworth struck nine people on Greene County Road, and three of the individuals were killed. The victims were a 30-year-old male, 22-year-old female, and 3-year-old child. The others injured were transported to area hospitals and their current conditions are unknown. Authorities have arrested both Wedgeworth and the driver of the Chevrolet and charges have yet to be filed.
