Single-vehicle auto accidents that are caused by the negligence of the driver often provide grounds for injured passengers to file an auto accident case. Distracted driving, fatigued driving, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and aggressive driving, are all examples of reckless driving that causes accidents. However, there are other causes of car crashes including vehicle design flaws, mechanical defects, and dangerous roadways. Individuals that suffer damages in accidents that are not their fault may be entitled to compensation. The possibilities of causes are great and require a full investigation to be conducted.
