A Tuesday morning snowplow accident resulted in the death of an elderly Illinois man. At around 9:20 a.m., 80-year-old Agostino Comella was struck by a 2007 GMC Carryall snowplow that was clearing snow from his driveway at the corner of Ozark and Church streets in Morton Grove, Illinois. According to witnesses, Comella fell just before being struck by the vehicle. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The accident is being investigated by the Morton Police Department and the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force's Major Crash Assistance Team.
