Although there are not too many on the roads, if you are lucky enough to drive a Ferrari, you may want to check it for the latest recall. Furthermore, the luxury vehicle manufactured out of Italy has been included in the recent Takata recall due to faulty airbags.
Likewise, 2,600 Ferrari’s have been globally recalled, and the more than 800 of them are located in the United States. The vehicles are equipped with driver-side airbags that may deploy in a rotated fashion which increases the risk of injury. Moreover, the manufacturer points out that the latest Takata airbag recall is not related to the shrapnel related recall for other vehicles.
Ten other global automakers are included in the faulty airbag inflators from Takata. Thus far, Takata is owner to one of the largest recalls in US history, which includes 34 million vehicles.
