In Ann Arbor, Michigan one person is dead following a semi-truck crash. Furthermore, the semi truck accident happened in the southbound lane of US-23 around Willis Road. Likewise, four others were involved in the semi truck crash; one was listed in unstable condition, and the others were stable upon evaluation. Sadly, one person was killed at the scene. It is not currently known what caused the fatal semi truck accident. After the chaotic scene, the southbound traffic was diverted to Willis Road for several hours.
In an unrelated semi accident, another driver was killed when their vehicle went underneath a truck in Donnellson, Iowa. The semi truck crash happened on Highway 218 when the vehicle failed to slow when the truck was turning onto 200th Street. As a result, the vehicle struck the rear end of the semi and went underneath the truck. The unidentified driver of the vehicle was killed at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
