In Gwinnett County, Georgia, a five-year-old girl is recovering after being bitten by a dog while she was at a playground. Furthermore, 5-year-old, Joselyn Boyt has proclaimed the dog, “bad” after biting her while she was trying to enjoy a sunny, summer day with her mom and young brother. According to Joselyn’s family, they were at Tribble Mill Park on Thursday playing when the dog bit her. Joselyn’s mother was feeding her baby brother when the dog then bit her on the stomach.
Just after the dog bites, the owner of the pet grabbed it and started walking to his truck. Police have still not located the suspect that left with his dog, but according to witnesses, it was a man and woman who were with the dog. The dog has also been identified as a pit bull. Following the dog bite attack, Joselyn went to the emergency room and received treatment for rabies as a precaution.
