In a heart-wrenching display of human compassion, a Brighton, Colorado police officers helps comfort and distract a young girl who just lost her father in a car crash. Furthermore, the fatal car crash that killed the father happened on I-76 Thursday morning when two adults and four children were ejected from the vehicle.
The father was pronounced dead at the scene. After the fatal car crash, the officer scooped up the little girl and began singing, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” just as he does for his own young daughter when she gets hurt.
It was a moment captured in a photograph by a witness and was a moment of peace amongst chaos and heartache. The woman and children that were involved in the car crash were all transported to nearby hospitals. No word has been given on their current conditions.
