Honda has recalled its vehicles due to the faulty Takata airbags. The airbags can burn quickly due to ammonium nitrate propellant in the inflators, which can in turn send shrapnel throughout the vehicles. So far there have been seven deaths and more than 100 injuries due to the faulty airbags. According to Honda, over 915,000 affected vehicles have been covered either due to the recalls or the company’s voluntary safety improvements.
