Sadly, two Montgomery County teenagers have been killed in a Thursday night car crash. Likewise, the car crash happened after an underage drinking party when the teens crashed on North Potomac at the 13800 block of Dufief Mill Road. Furthermore, the car that crashed was a sedan with four passengers and was headed north.
For unknown reasons the driver of the vehicle lost control, struck trees and came to a stop in the front yard of a home. Three people inside the vehicle were 18-years-old, and one was only 17. The two victims that died in the fatal car crash were 18-year-old, Alexander Murk, and 18-year-old, Calvin Jia-Xing Li. All were recent graduates of the local high school in Rockville.
The driver of the vehicle was 18-year-old, Samuel Joseph Ellis, and suffered life-threatening injuries from the car crash. The underage passenger was an occupant in the front seat and is not being identified, but they were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation into the car crash is pending.
