A popular actor from the 1980's movies, "Revenge of the Nerds" was involved in a near fatal vehicle accident today in Dolores, Colorado. Likewise, 60-year-old, Robert Carradine was in a crash that happened on Highway 145 in the San Juan National Forrest, which is known for treacherous roads. In addition, the crash occurred when Carradine crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic, and hit a semi truck, head-on.
Luckily, although no one was killed, both Carradine and his wife who was the passenger were seriously injured in the wreck; both were wearing seatbelts. The driver of the semi was unharmed in the accident. The conditions of Carradine and his wife are unknown at this time. Thus far it seems as though there were no contributing factors to the crash including weather, drugs, or alcohol. Not more than one week prior to this near fatal semi crash the same stretch of road was closed due to another horrible head-on collision.
