Walking has always been an encouraged form of traveling and has increased in popularity over recent years to help the environment. With more pedestrians on the roads, pedestrian accidents are on the rise. Pedestrians are encouraged to follow safety precautions such as wearing reflective clothing, carrying a flashlight, and using crosswalks and sidewalks when available. Using every safety precaution may still not prevent an accident. It is important to contact a personal injury attorney to recover compensation for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
