Sadly a construction worker has died while on the job Thursday afternoon at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville’s campus. The worker is yet to be identified until the next of kin has been notified. What is known is the worker was employed by Keller Construction and was working on the road at the time of the accident.
The worker was in the process of improving the roadway to an archeological dig on Stadium Drive in Edwardsville, Illinois when a piece of construction they were using broke loose.
