Friday morning in St. Louis, Missouri, two demolition workers were injured in a near-fatal workplace accident. The two men were in the process of dismantling a building at the 3900 block of West Pine Boulevard when they fell more than 30 feet to the ground.
In addition, as the workers were removing bricks by hand, the third floor collapsed, and they fell to the basement level. Although it was a high fall, both men were talking and alert when paramedics arrived. Both workers are currently being treated at a nearby hospital, and their conditions are both listed as stable.
