A 24-year-old man was attending a Chevelle concert with his two friends when he fell and was killed. The three men had went through a door onto a catwalk at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois on Friday when the man fell onto two pieces of metal that impaled him. Shortly after exiting the door, his two friends noticed that he was not with them and then discovered his body. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at approximately 10:54 p.m. The young man was a high school graduate of Bartlett High and went on to play college football at Loras College in Iowa. Upon graduating, he coached football for Bartlett High School and then became the defensive line coordinator at the DuPage community college. Authorities are investigating the accident and officials for the Aragon Ballroom did not respond to requests for comments.
