On Friday night, a two-vehicle car accident resulted in the death of a man in Sunset Hills, Missouri. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 76-year-old Gary L. Brown was operating a pickup truck on Highway 30 when he attempted to make a left turn and collided with a passenger vehicle near Watson Road. The impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway and the passenger vehicle overturned. The driver of the car, 22-year-old Scott W. Marek was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and his passenger, 23-year-old Waylon D. Caldwell sustained critical injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Brown was also taken to the hospital for injuries he sustained in the crash.
