A dump truck accident closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 55 for several hours in St. Louis. The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when police were pursuing a vehicle that struck the dump truck between the exits for Gravois and Arsenal. The impact caused the dump truck to overturn and land on its’ side. The driver was injured in the accident and transported to the hospital for treatment. He is listed in stable condition. It is unknown if there have been any charges issued to the at-fault driver for the accident.
