A tractor-trailer accident in Hanover, Virginia has claimed the life of one woman and seriously injured three others. The accident happened at around 8 a.m. on Wednesday and involved three vehicles including a tractor-trailer, an SUV, and a car. According to police, the collision happened near the intersection of Mountain Road and Dunn Road. The female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and the tractor-trailer driver was transported by medical helicopter for serious injuries sustained. Two individuals traveling in the SUV were also injured and transported by ambulance to the hospital. Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident and have not released a cause for the crash.
