In Corona, California a police dog has bitten a suspect as well as the officer on duty during an investigation for a stolen-car. Furthermore, thedog bite accident happened Monday near Sixth Street and El Camino Avenue when the police officer noticed a vehicle with a passenger that was being sought after for another car theft.
After the police officer stopped, the driver, 34-year-old, Crystal Thompson was arrested. The passenger in the vehicle ran away, and a ground and air search went underway. 20 minutes later the police dog found the 24-year-old passenger, Charlie Torres hiding behind a dumpster. Torres then put up a fight when officer tried to arrest him, and he then suffered minor dog bites. Unfortunately the officer was also bitten by the police dog during the ordeal, and received minor injuries without stitches.
