In Ellis County, California a blazingsemi-truck crash had responders trying to douse the flames for hours. Furthermore, the semi crash happened after a semi-truck and SUV collided head on located at FM 1446 at Lone Elm Road. According to police it seems that the SUV went onto the path of the semi, and the vehicle then crashed underneath the truck. In addition, soon after the semi crash, both vehicles burst into flames, and 20 acres of nearby field burned as well.
The driver of the semi was unharmed, but the driver of the SUV was killed instantly. FM1446 was closed until a complete investigation was accomplished. Luckily no nearby residential homes were harmed in the fire from the semi crash.
