A day of fun and sightseeing for international students visiting Seattle, Washington turned deadly after a popular ride attraction crashed into a bus, killing four of the passengers. In addition, of the killed were four international students when a “Ride the Ducks” touring vehicle crashed into the side of a large commuter bus on the Aurora Bridge on Thursday.
The president of North Seattle College confirmed that the four students who were killed in thebus crash were attending the school, and they are in the process of notifying the families. Many more were severely injured in the bus crash as well, and dozens were sent to Harborview Medical Center. All in all, over 50 firefighters and paramedics were working on the scene shortly after the accident.
As of Thursday night, two patients are still in critical condition, 10 are in serious condition, and another three are in satisfactory condition. The NTSB is currently investigating the deadly bus crash.
