The police report that a SUV was driving in the fast lane of Interstate 25 when it attempted to pass the vehicle in front also in the fast lane. This aggressive driving lead to the SUV striking the other vehicle. Consequently, the impact caused the SUV to flip, whereby the female driver was ejected from the vehicle. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. In addition, alcohol was found near the wreckage of the SUV.
Due to this car accident the lanes on the interstate had to be shut down. Currently an investigation is ongoing.
