It’s not often a person can be struck by a semi truck on foot and live to tell about it, but hopefully that will be the scenerio for one Missouri teen following a pedestrian accident. Furthermore, in St. Louis a semi truck struck a young teen early Tuesday morning. In addition, the teen is now in serious condition recovering at a nearby hospital.
According to police, a 51-year-old truck driver struck the teen around 1a.m. on Bowles Avenue while both were headed eastbound on the interstate. According to police, it appears that poor lighting in the area contributed to the pedestrian accident.
