A fatal car accident that occurred last week was all captured on the dash cam of a Manchester Police Department squad car. The crash occurred on April 9 when a police officer attempted to stop a 26-year-old Florissant woman and a police chase ensued. The woman was in a vehicle suspected of being involved in a burglary and as she fled police, she lost control of her SUV on Highway 141. The SUV collided with a car causing the driver to be ejected and killed in the accident. Two other female passengers in the SUV were also seriously injured and the driver of the car is now in stable condition. The dash cam video provides police with the details of the crash that may not be known otherwise. Police chases are often a controversial topic, especially when they result in a deadly car accident.
