Two people were killed in a head-on car crash in Nelson County yesterday, April 8. Two others were sent to the hospital with serious injuries. According to The Louisville Sheriff’s Department, a pickup truck and a sedan crashed into each other on U.S. 150. The accident happened around 2 p.m. The police reported that a sedan passenger, a 17-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pick-up truck died later at Flaget Hospital from injuries received during the accident. The two others involved in the accident were both 17-year-old males and were taken University Hospital. The accident is still under investigations and it is unknown if charges will be filed.
