Two Arkansas women were killed in a fiery three-vehicle crash on Tuesday, April 19. The Arkansas State Police report the women killed were Clarendon residents. The accident occurred after their westbound sports utility vehicle suddenly stalled on Interstate 40. The SUV was then hit by two tractor-trailers. Their SUV immediately went up in flames. Both women were pronounced dead at the scene. The Arkansas State Police report it was raining at the time of the accident and the wet road may have enabled the two tractor-trailers to stop.
