A Highland, Missouri man died in a tractor-trailer accident Tuesday morning, April 12. The 30-year-old motorist collided with a tractor-trailer near Lebanon. Officials report that the man was driving westbound on Highway 50 at Old Route 50 when his 2012 Chevrolet collided with the semi-truck after he crossed the center-line. The man was found ejected from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Chevrolet was engulfed in flames soon after the collision. The driver of the tractor-trailer refused medical treatment for his minor injuries. Officials have not yet released the identity of the 30-year-old man who died at the scene. Investigations continue by the Illinois State Police and no charges have been filed.
