Traffic was slow for travelers on Interstate 270 Wednesday afternoon after an auto accident occurred involving a St. Louis County police car. According to authorities, at approximately 12:00 p.m. the police officer was traveling on Interstate 270 northbound when the accident happened near the Interstate 64 exit.
