During the early morning hours on Thursday, an off-duty police officer was involved in a car crash and DUI is suspected. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the accident at around 5 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered one of their own had collided with a parked vehicle along McCausland Avenue. The parked car was unoccupied and the police officer did not suffer any injuries. DWI is suspected and an investigation is being conducted by Internal Affairs.
