On Thursday evening, a fatal train accident occurred when a Metrolink train collided with a motorcycle in California. The California Highway Patrol reported that at around 6 p.m., the westbound train struck the motorcycle close to Las Posas Road and Fifth Street near the town of Camarillo. Tragically, the impact caused the death of a female passenger on the bike, and the male driver was critically injured and taken to the hospital. The collision occurred at a railroad crossing and the front of the train’s camera recorded the accident. The investigation is ongoing by both the California Highway Patrol and Metrolink.
