A man is dead after a fatal bus accident in St. Louis on Tuesday. According to police, a 27-year-old man was run over by a Metro bus near River City Casino Boulevard and Alabama Avenue, in South City. Police report the Metro bus struck the right rear of a van, causing the man to ejected from his vehicle. The bus then ran over the man, and he died at the scene. There were three people inside the van at the time of the accident. Police reported no other injuries. Police say the 27-year-old victim was a resident of the 100 block of Mann in St. Louis City. The tragic accident it still under police investigation. It is still unclear what caused the bus to rear-end the van or if the bus driver will be facing any charges.
