An elderly man was issued a citation after parking his vehicle in the middle of an interstate that resulted in a multi-vehicle accident. The accident happened on Sunday afternoon in Albany, New York. According to authorities, a 63-year-old man was operating a Toyota Camry when he parked the car in the center lane of Interstate 87. Two other vehicles crashed into the Toyota resulting in one individual sustaining injuries. The injured driver was taken the hospital and the injuries are believed to be minor. The driver of the Toyota walked away from the accident and was located by police not long after the crash. He received citations for leaving the scene of an accident and parking on pavement. Authorities closed the roadway while clearing the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
