A workplace accident claimed the life of a Wisconsin man on Friday. The accident occurred in Woodville at approximately 2:37 p.m. Authorities responded to the scene at St. Croix Castings and pronounced the 41-year-old male worker dead. Investigators have labeled it an industrial accident and have provided few details regarding the incident. St. Croix Castings is a business that manufactures aluminum castings in a sand and permanent molds, and the St. Croix County Economic Development Corporation named them the small business of the year for 2015.
