The majority of the thousands of auto accidents that occur each year share a common component in that they are caused by a form of negligence. Dangerous roadways, mechanical defects, design flaws, and reckless driving are the most common causes of car accidents where a negligent party is responsible. Individuals that are involved in car accidents may sustain physical injuries, property damages, and mental anguish. Fortunately, victims of auto accidents may be entitled to compensation for their damages if another party is liable for the crash. The party responsible could be the driver of the vehicle, the automaker, engineers of the roadways, or other parties.
