An employee at a car wash facility was tragically killed in a work accident in Northeast Philadelphia. According to police, a fatal accident occurred at the Krewsin Klean Car Wash in the 9200 block of Krewstown Road in Bustleton at approximately 11:52 a.m. on Monday. A 22-year-old employee was struck by two different vehicles and died instantly. Authorities report the employee was accidently struck first by a gray Dodge Durango SUV as he was cleaning the rear windows of another vehicle. He was then struck a second time by a red 2004 Honda Accord sedan that was exiting the car wash. Emergency responders declared the young man dead at the scene. Police remained at the car wash and conducted a thorough investigation. No charges have been filed.
