Four people are dead after a fatal boating accident on Lake Lanier in Georgia this past Friday. Officials say the bodies of four people have been recovered from the lake after a mysterious boating accident. Among the deceased were a 46-year-old Kentucky man and his wife, a 45-year-old woman; along with another Kentucky couple, a 44-year old man and woman. A witness told police she saw a boat speeding through the water, becoming airborne, and crashing back into the water. The boat overturned and the four passengers were missing. DNR rangers were able to recover all the bodies in the days that followed. According to officials, the bodies were recovered from waters over 90 feet deep. Officials said they will need time to determine what caused the boat to overturn and how fast the boat was traveling. The four Kentucky victims were at Lake Lanier for a charity poker run when the fatal boating accident occurred.
