An Ohio boy was injured on the Fourth of July after a parade float ran over him. According to the Columbus Dispatch, the boy was attending a parade in the Columbus suburb of Upper Arlington. Witness say the boy was walking alongside a trailer carrying a parade float that was being pulled by a pickup truck. The boy tripped and fell to the ground, and a trailer wheel ran over his leg. A police officer reports the 11-year-old boy suffered a leg injury but is expected to recover. The boy is in good condition, and his injuries are not life-threatening. The parade was paused for less than an hour while paramedics helped the boy. His identity has not been released.
