Ten people were seriously injured in a crash over the weekend in Chicago. The rollover crash occurred early Saturday morning on Chicago's South Side at approximately 6:30 a.m. According to the Chicago Fire Department and Illinois State Police, a large vehicle carrying several passengers crashed near 109th Street and South Doty Avenue in the Pullman neighborhood. The police say the southbound vehicle was traveling on the Bishop Ford Expressway when it veered off the road, drove through an embankment, crashed through a fence, and then flipped over in a parking lot. Ten Passengers were taken to nearby hospitals. A 15-year-old was taken to Comer Children's Hospital; one to Northwestern Memorial Hospital; four to Stroger Hospital; two to Mount Sinai Hospital; and two to Advocate Christ Medical Center. Authorities report the passengers were in serious condition, but stable. Additional details about the crash have not been made available.
