A Nashville man has been charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication as well as vehicular assault after a motorcycle crash. The man was also operating a vehicle on a revoked license. According to the Nashville Police, the 68-year-old man was driving drunk on Tuesday. He failed to yield on Bell Road and struck a motorcycle turning onto Old Hickory Blvd.
The 60-year-old motorcyclist died later of injuries at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Police also report they discovered two open containers of alcohol inside the man’s car. The drunk driver had a previous DUI conviction and remains at the Nashville jail.
