On Wednesday night, St. Louis County residents were alarmed when a car crashed into their home. According to police, two vehicles were initially involved in a road rage incident that led to a car colliding with a house and overturning. The crash happened at around 9:45 p.m. near the I-255 ramp at Telegraph Road. Fortunately, the three individuals in the vehicle survived but did suffer injuries that authorities believe are non-life-threatening. They were transported by ambulance to nearby medical centers. The other vehicle involved had fled the area. It is unknown if charges will be filed.
Auto accidents occur every day in the United States. Tragically, most of these accidents occur due to the negligent actions of drivers. Road rage is a form of aggressive driving, which is an example of negligent driving. Other forms include speeding, distracted driving, and fatigued driving. Driving responsibly is necessary to avoid an auto accident; however, the safest drivers may be involved in a crash due to another driver’s negligence. A vast majority of victims of auto accidents suffer property damage, injuries, emotional distress and even death. To hold the at-fault driver accountable for their negligence, it is important to consult a skilled car accident attorney.
